The Great Lakes Science CenterThe Great Lakes Science Center offers its visitors over 400 hands-on exhibits that are available for everybody to see, touch, and explore.
Discover the natural beauty, physical characteristics, geography and geology that makes the Great Lakes unique. Our exhibits celebrate the human and economic importance of the Great Lakes region, investigate threats to the Great Lakes, and explore ways in which this ecosystem is being restored. It will be very interesting!
You will see a tornado just around you - inside the Science Center! This amazing exhibit, standing more than eight feet tall, simulates an actual tornado right before your eyes. You and your friends or family can even reach out and touch the tornado! This exhibit won't leave you indifferent...

Getting ThereFrom Airport: Take I-71 North to East 9th Street exit. North on East 9th Street. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue.
From Akron: Take I-77 North to East 9th Street exit and stay to your right. Follow signs to East 9th Street. And take East 9th Street North. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue.
From Erie: Take I-90 West (St. Rt. 2) to East 9th Street exit, turn right on East 9th Street and left onto Erieside Avenue.
From Youngstown: Take I-80 to 480 West to I-77 North to East 9th Street. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue.
