 Tyee Lodge is located north of Newport City center, Oregon. Walk just a few minutes and you will find all of the attractions, including the Bayfront, Hatfield Marine Science Center, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Nye Beach historic oceanfront village. The park-like of Tyee Lodge setting is unequaled on the Oregon coast. The house is protected from the north winds in the summer, so you can come and sit on the lawn and watch the waves in a quite atmosphere. Walk down our trail to the beach and tide pools.  Our family vacation home is located 3 miles south of Newport, Oregon in a quiet coastal community. The house is situated on a large lot and is completely surrounded by trees. A path (approximately 200 feet) through the forest, leads to an expansive oceanfront view. From this cliff, you can view spectacular sunsets, whales, and miles of sand and surf. Easy, paved, private beach access is only a 7 minute walk away. Parking is also available.
