Hershey GardensDescriptionHershey Gardens was opened in 1937 as a 3.5 acre rose garden. By 1942 it was expanded to its current 23 acres. Hershey Gardens features 7,000 breathtaking roses, beautiful rare trees, themed gardens, Children's Garden, spectacular seasonal displays and the fascinating outdoor Butterfly House, which displays 300 North American butterflies representing nearly 25 varieties.

Extended hours for Memorial Day - Labor Day, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The Butterfly House is open daily from May 27 to September 16, weather permitting.
