Captain Jon Fails has provided guided fishing trips since 1993. The company he operates, Backcountry Charter Service, is located on North Padre Island, just a fifteen minute drive from downtown Corpus Christi. It focuses on fishing for redfish and trout in the magnificent seagrass flats of the Laguna Madre. He arranges fishing cruises aboard his Majek 21’ Redfish Line boat offering the finest in shallow water performance.
All you have to do is to call the night before and talk with him about details of your trip. All trips include fish cleaning and bagging. You need to bring your food, drink, and your fishing license.
