Red Butte GardenDescriptionOperated by the University of Utah, Red Butte Garden has 25 acres of gardens and 125 undeveloped acres. It offers visitors panoramic valley views and an extensive collection of plants, trees, flowers and shrubs from all parts of the world. The garden remains open all year with displays changing to fit the season. Medicinal gardens, the Daylily Collection, the Water Pavilion, and the Children's Garden are of special interest. Lectures, workshops, and concerts are presented regularly. For outdoor enthusiasts Red Butte Garden has miles of hiking trails, leading to areas that were closed to the public for more than a century.
