Edgar Allan Poe MuseumDescriptionThe Edgar Allan Poe Museum consists of four buildings. The starting point for tours of the complex is the Old Stone House, the oldest building in Richmond, dating to about 1736. The museum's collection provides a retreat into early 19th century Richmond where Edgar Allan Poe lived and worked. Exhibitions include the memorabilia, manuscripts, letters, first editions, photographs, portraits, and documents that tell the story about Poe's life and career.
