Virginia Museum of Fine ArtsDescriptionThe impressive collection of Virginia Museum of Fine Arts include works of Gauguin, Monet, van Gogh, Delacroix, Matisse, Degas, Picasso, Gainsborough; antiquities from Africa, China, Japan, Egypt, Greece, Byzantium, and South America; art from India, Nepal, and Tibet; and contemporary American art. But the pride of the museum is the largest public Faberge collection outside Russia. It includes more than 300 objets d'art created at the turn of the century for Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II.
Entrance FeeA donation of $5 is suggested. Admission fees are charged for special temporary exhibitions.
