Built in 1896 as a boardinghouse and saloon for lumberjacks, the historic Bright Morning Inn is ideally located in the picturesque town of Davis, West Virginia, and surrounded by over 800,000 acres of Monongahela National Forest and Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge land. The Inn's dining room is open to the public and serves breakfast and lunch daily. The menu items are made using the freshest ingredients and local foods in season, like wild blueberries. It's a warm, relaxing place where the menus -- like Canaan Valley's famous weather -- changes daily. Guests choose from a wide array of menu items, including wild blueberry pancakes, breakfast burritos, a variety of egg scramblers and biscuits with sausage gravy.
