Cranberry Mountain LodgeDescriptionThe Cranberry Mountain Lodge is one of the most unique lodgings in the U.S. Located at 4,000 feet elevation on top of Cranberry Mountain, the lodge stays near the biggest area of national forest. The views off the deck are breathtaking, exceeding 40 miles. You can hike, bike or ski right out the front door to a vast trail system. The lodge is very isolated and silent. To rent the lodge means to rent the entire seven-bedroom facility, so you get the privacy you deserve.
The Cranberry Mountain Lodge is a great place for bird-watchers and nature-lovers. The lodge adjoins one of the largest black bear sanctuaries east of the Mississippi.
There are seven bedrooms and four baths will house up to 16 people.
There are some cons against staying in the lodge, including uncomfortable road, mices and so on, but if you want, but not so serious.
