Wyoming Territorial Park DescriptionWyoming Territorial Park is a cultural heritage park, that includes Wyoming Territorial Prison Museum, Frontier Town and Ranchland Exhibit. Visitors Visitors to the 190-acre facility will find almost everything having to do with frontier life before the start of the 20th century, from a funky frontier town to a ranching exhibit with a homesteader's cabin and farm animals.
The restored Wyoming Territorial Prison is the main attraction of the park. The prison was built in 1872 and held some of the most notorious outlaws in the region, including Butch Cassidy. It is one of only two territorial prisons remaining in the nation.
Entrance FeeAdults: $5 Teens (age 12-17): $2.50 Children under 11 get in free.
Horse Barn Dinner Theater show: adults $30, children $19.
Operating Hours & Seasons9 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily, call for winter hours.
Grounds are open year round. FrontierTown is open weekends only; prison and exhibit hall are open May through September.
Getting ThereFrom Interstate 80, exit 311, Snowy Range Road, and travel east towards downtown Laramie. The entrance is a quarter mile east on Snowy Range Road on the left hand side.
